Ghatfan Ghanoum is a Syrian-Finnish filmmaker and photographer. Ghatfan was born in the Syrian city Homs and lived between Homs and the Syrian capital, Damascus. He graduated in 2006 from the Art Academy of Moldavia. He returned to Syria to work in the field of film directing. He left Syria for Finland in 2014, after the outbreak of the Syrian revolution.
